「玫瑰刺金」

有人送了我一朵花，

是從不在五月開的花，

但我說：「我已經有一株漂亮的玫瑰樹了。」

這朵甜美的花便從我眼角消逝了。

然後我走向我美麗的玫瑰樹，

日以繼夜的照料她，

但我的玫瑰帶著嫉妒別過頭，

她的刺成了我唯一的喜悅。

象徵愛情的玫瑰，多刺且多情

是愛情忠貞的守衛者，

如果沒有愛情可以守護，

就讓牠來替我們守護財富吧…

But I said:「I've a pretty rose tree.」

To tend her by day and by night.
